Cooking with Sara: Vegan Ice Cream

Yeah, you read that right.  Vegan ice cream, people.  Ice cream for those of us whose bodies no longer like dairy.   (And for those of us subjected to said girl's cooking with said vegan ingredients.)

As part of a theme week for the Blah to Ta-Daa blog, we all tried out kid-friendly cooking items and some coordinating recipes.  Before you start scratching your head in confusion - I borrowed two carpet climbers from my friend here in Atlanta :)  Two really cute and fun carpet climbers at that!  My kid-friendly item to try was their Ice Cream Maker.  I paired that with this new vegan "cream" that I've been reading about:

In summary?   Do it.  Buy the vegan cream and make the vegan ice cream.  And then make vegan Vodka Cream Sauce for your pasta.  And then make a whole host of other things you've been missing while dairy has been the enemy.
